Tours
Along with the hundreds of rivers, creeks, and streams, also
comes a plethora of stunning waterfalls, many of which are only
a few hours drive from Williams Lake. Likely and Horsefl y (both
east of Williams Lake) are host to some of the most spectacular
and accessible waterfalls in the area. In the direction of Horsefl y,
a visit to the steep and narrow Moffat Falls should not be
missed (one hour from Williams
Lake). Another option is to follow
the 100 Road along the Horsefl y
River where you will fi nd two sets
of tiered falls that are sure to
take your breath away the
Lower Horsefl
y Falls, and the
Upper Horsefl
y Falls (1.5
hours and 2 hours away from
Williams Lake).
If you are taking the driving tour
from Likely to Barkerville along
the Matthew River Road, be sure
to stop in at Cariboo Falls just
past Cariboo River Bridge (1.5 hrs
from Williams Lake) and Ghost Falls (2.5 hrs from
WL) on the road into Ghost Lake.
Central Cariboo Tourism has partnered with Gibraltar Mine to
